As Three Sticks Selectively Grows its Exclusive Portfolio, Forrest to Leverage His Extensive Experience to Expand Market Penetration Via Wholesale & Direct-to-Consumer Channels

(Sonoma, CA, August 30^th 2011) — Three Sticks Wines, owned by entrepreneur and investor Bill Price, announced today the appointment of Scott Forrest as National Sales Manager for the Sonoma Valley boutique winery. Forrest brings a broad range of industry experience garnered over the past twenty-plus years, including working in management at one of Colorado’s top distributors before relocating to California in 2005. During the last six years, Forrest has held both regional and national sales management positions that have enhanced his keen sense of what is necessary to establish a wine brand’s credibility.

Three Sticks produces small lot Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from its home site, Durell Vineyard, and a Cabernet Sauvignon sourced from mountain vineyards in Sonoma Valley, California. In spring 2011, the winery introduced its first vintage of 2008 Pinot Noir, “THE JAMES,” sourced from the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. This fall will see the release of its second vintage of 2009 Sonoma Valley Pinot Blanc. In addition to owning Three Sticks Wines and Durell Vineyard, Price is an investor in a collection of world-class vineyard sites and wineries through his company Classic Wines LLC.
